2. Services & Appointments

We offer facial spa, skincare, and related aesthetic treatments as described on our Site, including but not limited to facials, microneedling, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, scalp therapy, brow and lash services.

• Services are performed by Luzmila Dahlstrom, a licensed esthetician.
• Appointments may be booked online through our Site (via our Amelia booking system), by phone, or by WhatsApp.
• All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or discontinue a service offering at our discretion, and will notify affected clients as early as possible.

3. Cancellation, No-Show & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that plans change, and we ask for the same courtesy in return.

• Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
• Cancellations or reschedules made with at least 24 hours' notice incur no charge.
• We appreciate as much notice as possible for cancellations made within 24 hours, so that we can offer the appointment time to another client.
• If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible — depending on the delay, we may need to shorten your treatment or reschedule to protect the quality of your service and the schedule of clients booked after you.

4. Payment

• Payment may be made as a deposit at the time of booking through our online booking system, or on-site after your treatment, depending on how you choose to book.
• We accept cash, credit and debit cards, Zelle, Apple Pay, and Clover for in-studio payments. Online deposits and payments made through the Site are processed via our booking system, Amelia (see Section 11 below).
• Once a service has been fully performed, payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

5. Client Eligibility & Health Disclosure

Certain treatments may not be suitable for clients with specific skin conditions, allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or those who are pregnant or nursing. General eligibility guidance for each treatment is provided on our Site's service pages.

• Prior to your appointment, we will confirm your eligibility and health information with you in person, in addition to any guidance already listed on our Site.
• You agree to disclose any relevant allergies, medical conditions, medications, recent procedures, or skin concerns prior to treatment, to the best of your knowledge, so that your treatment can be performed safely.
• If, upon assessment, we identify a condition that may be affected by treatment — such as an active infection, sunburn, or other contraindication — we may reschedule your appointment to a later date for your safety and wellbeing.
• Providing inaccurate or incomplete health information may affect the safety and outcome of your treatment, and LaPiel LLC is not responsible for outcomes resulting from undisclosed conditions.

6. Minors & Age Requirements

Our services are intended for adult clients. Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by, and have services authorized by, a parent or legal guardian, who assumes responsibility for compliance with these Terms on the minor's behalf.

7. Results & Disclaimer

Skin Expert LaPiel provides cosmetic and spa esthetic services. Our treatments are not medical or dermatological treatments, and Luzmila Dahlstrom is not a physician or dermatologist.

• Individual results vary based on skin type, condition, consistency of treatment, and home care, among other factors.
• We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from any treatment.
• Any recommendations provided are based on professional esthetic training and experience, and are not a substitute for medical advice. Clients with medical skin conditions should consult a licensed physician or dermatologist as appropriate.

8. Right to Refuse Service

LaPiel LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client whose behavior is abusive, threatening, inappropriate, or unsafe, or where treatment is determined to be unsuitable due to health or safety concerns.

9. Photography & Media Consent

From time to time, we may photograph or record treatments for documentation, training, or marketing purposes. We will never use photographs or videos identifying a client for marketing purposes without first obtaining that client's consent, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

10. Promotional Pricing & Offers

Promotional offers, introductory pricing, and seasonal specials are subject to change or cancellation without notice and cannot be combined with other promotions unless expressly stated at the time of the offer.

11. Online Booking & Payment Through Amelia

Our Site uses Amelia, a third-party booking and payment plugin, to allow clients to schedule appointments and make payments online.

• When you book or pay through our Site, certain information (such as your name, contact details, and payment information) is processed through Amelia and any connected payment processor to complete your booking.
• LaPiel LLC does not directly store full payment card details on our servers.

12. Website Use & Intellectual Property

All content on our Site — including text, images, logos, service descriptions, and design — is the property of LaPiel LLC unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission.

You agree not to use our Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Site, or interfere with any other party's use of the Site, including attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its systems.

13. Website Accuracy

While we strive to keep all information on our Site accurate and current, we do not guarantee that service descriptions, pricing, availability, or other content will always be complete, accurate, or up to date. Errors may be corrected at any time without prior notice.

14. Electronic Communications

By providing your email address or phone number, you agree that we may contact you regarding appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-up care instructions, and customer service communications.

15. Force Majeure

LaPiel LLC shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or an inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, power outages, public health emergencies, or other force majeure events.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LaPiel LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Site or services, including but not limited to any adverse reaction to a treatment where accurate health information was not disclosed beforehand, or any technical issue arising from third-party services (such as Amelia, Google Analytics, or our hosting provider) that are outside of our direct control.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will first be addressed by contacting us directly so we can work toward a resolution in good faith.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and LaPiel LLC regarding your use of the Site and our services, and supersede any prior understandings or agreements relating to the same subject matter.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, policies, or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our Site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
